According to IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Data, as of 30 July 2026, South Kordofan state was hosting 330 379 IDPs, 84% of them displaced within the state (276 410), followed by Khartoum (33 831). Of the total number of IDPs in South Kordofan, 77 110 IDPs were located in the state capital Kadugli, followed by Abu Jubayhah district with 57 990 IDPs and Dilling district with 35877 IDPs. At the same time, an additional 132 080 displaced persons from South Kordofan were hosted in other states. As of 28 July 2026, IOM had not recorded any IDP returns in South Kordofan.942
