Between January and June 2025, OHCHR documented 251 civilian deaths in the context of the conflict in Al Jazirah.1017 Between March 2025 and April 2026, AOAV recorded three casualties resulting from explosive weapons use in Al Jazirah,1018 all of them recorded in August 2025.1019 ACLED observed that the security incidents it recorded in Al Jazirah between 1 March 2025 and 31 August 2026 caused an estimated 112 fatalities, 69 of them recorded in March 2025, with all subsequent months recording between zero and ten fatalities.1020
