2.14.5. Conflict-related infrastructure damage and other war impacts

RSF drone strikes targeted the electricity infrastructure,1185 military sites,1186 and a fuel depot.1187 Repeated RSF drone attacks on Merowe dam and its power plant reportedly caused temporary disruptions rather than lasting structural damage.1188 In July 2026, a drone strike caused damage to a power station in Al Dabbah.1189
