Insecurity Insight between 1 March 2025 and 17 August 2026 recorded four attacks on health care in Kassala state, two of them attributed to the RSF, one to the Sudanese Popular Resistance and another to an unnamed militia.1248 During the reference period, Insecurity Insight did not record any attacks on educational facilities.1249 Power outages related to attacks on infrastructure in May 2025 led to the debilitation of the irrigation systems in the state, causing harvest and income losses.1250
