2.15. River Nile

In the reference period covered by the previous EUAA COI Report Sudan – Security Situation (February 2025), the RSF made several attempts to seize areas in River Nile state.1192 However, SAF troops recaptured the RSF-controlled areas on the border with Khartoum state in October 2024.1193
