Search within Sudan: Security Situation
Between 1 March 2025 and 31 August 2026, ACLED recorded 14 security events in Sennar state. Of these, 6 were coded as battles, 5 as explosions/remote violence and 3 as violence against civilians. Of these incidents, ACLED recorded 5 in Al Dali district, four in Sinja and 3 in Sennar districts.1044 All three events coded as ‘violence against civilians’ with 45 recorded fatalities involved the SAF or allied forces.1045
