Between 1 March 2025 and 17 August 2026, Insecurity Insight recorded one RSF drone strike on a health facility in Sennar state, causing damage to the building.1052 Between 1 March 2025 and 31 May 2026, Insecurity Insight did not record any attacks on educational facilities in the state.1053 An RSF drone strike targeted electricity infrastructure in Sinja in October 2025.1054 As of the beginning of 2026, the important agricultural sector in Sennar was still impacted by damaged irrigation systems and stolen machinery, likely contributing to below-average production.1055 The RSF during their control over Sennar had reportedly looted crops, livestock and machinery and burned agricultural land.1056
