Between January and June 2025, OHCHR documented 114 civilian deaths in the context of the conflict in White Nile.1079 Between March 2025 and April 2026, AOAV recorded 50 casualties resulting from explosive weapons use in White Nile.1080 In 2025, casualties were recorded only in November (5 casualties).1081 A surge in the number of casualties was recorded in March 2026 with 29 recorded casualties,1082 followed by April with 15 recorded casualties.1083 On 11 March 2026, several RSF drone strikes targeted Shukairi village in Um Rimta district,1084 striking a secondary school and a primary healthcare centre and killing at least eight students and a health care worker and injuring many more.1085 On 2 April 2026, a drone strike attributed to the RSF struck Al-Jabalain hospital, resulting in at least 10 fatalities.1086 A drone strike on a fuel station in Rabak reportedly killed two civilians in June 2026.1087 ACLED observed that the security incidents it recorded in White Nile between 1 March 2025 and 31 August 2026 caused an estimated 238 fatalities.1088
