The SNHR recorded no civilian fatalities in Hasaka governorate attributed to the controlling forces or other parties to the conflict in October,853 November854 or December 2025.855 In January 2026, the SNHR recorded two civilian fatalities in the governorate, attributed to the SDF and to other parties. No civilian fatalities were recorded in February and one in March, attributed to the SDF. In April, SNHR again recorded no civilian fatality in Hasaka. Two civilian fatalities were recorded in May, attributed to other parties.856 An analysis of the period since the fall of Bashar Al-Assad indicates a consistently low number of civilian fatalities in the governorate, ranging between 0 and 5 per month.857
