Dar’a governorate is divided into three administrative districts, namely As-Sanamayn, Dar’a, and Izra’, which are further divided into a total of 17 sub-districts.1120 Its capital is the city of Dar’a.1121 As of April 2026, IOM estimated the governorate’s population at around 1 367 000, including residents, IDPs, and returnees from abroad.1122
