In October 2025, the SNHR recorded 7 civilian fatalities in Dar’a governorate, 6 in November, 6 in December, 4 in January 2026, 5 in February, 1 in March, 2 in April and 3 in May, as of 1 June 2026.1182 Between October 2025 and May 2026, all recorded civilian fatalities in the governorate were attributed to actors that SNHR could not identify.1183 An analysis of the period since the fall of Bashar Al-Assad shows peaks in the civilian death toll in March and April 2025 followed by a general decline with two smaller peaks in June and September 2025.1184
