According to SNHR, the civilian death toll in Hama governorate was 10 in October 2025, 15 in November, 14 in December, 9 in January as well as February 2026, 8 in March, 12 in April and 8 in May 2026.625 During this period most civilian fatalities were attributed to unidentified actors.626 In November and December 2025 one fatality in each month was attributed to remnants of the Assad regime.627 In April 2026, regime remnants were also mentioned as actors, but the number of victims was not specified.628 An analysis of civilian fatality data from Hama since December 2024 shows a slight downward trend, with the notable exception of March 2025, when escalating violence in the Syrian coastal region resulted in more than 150 recorded deaths in Hama.629
