Lahore is home to Pakistan’s second largest civil airport, Allama Iqbal International Airport (IATA: LHE), located around 15 kilometres from the city centre. The airport has three terminals2279 and handles both domestic and international flights.2280

In addition to the airport, Lahore’s transportation infrastructure includes railway2284 and road connections to Islamabad, Karachi2285 as well as cities within Punjab.2286 Reportedly, only 31 % of urban Lahore’s population have decent access to local public transport.2287
