7.3.10. Access to airports and freedom of movement

The Allama Iqbal International Airport can be reached by car,2288 taxi, ride-hailing apps2289 or by bus.2290 Allama Iqbal International Airport can be entered through the Pedestrian Gate or the Main Vehicle Entrance Gate. At the entrance to airport premises, security measures such as under vehicle searches and body searches (in the case of pedestrians) take place. The following documents may be requested for entry: Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC), airline ticket and passport.2291 When arriving at Lahore Airport on an international flight, Pakistani nationals are required to present a valid passport and, if arriving from a country with diseases identified by the World Health Organization (WHO), a vaccination certificate.2292 No information on specific administrative requirements needed by Pakistani nationals to move or relocate to Lahore could be found among all sources consulted.
