Sources interviewed by Dutch MFA and DIS in September 2025 were not aware of concrete examples of family members of critics or opponents who encountered problems in the transitional government’s control area.310 In July 2025 SNHR reported on cases where security forces reportedly arrested relatives of critics of the government in Hama governorate to pressure them to surrender.311 However, SNHR stated that the targeting of relatives of critics of the government was not systematic.312
