Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) is a hardline Sunni Islamist political party known for its strong anti-blasphemy platform and capacity to mobilise large street protests. TLP supporters are linked to intimidation and violence against Religious minorities, particularly Ahmadis, and Individuals (perceived as) transgressing Islamic norms, and to unrest involving road blockades and clashes with police. In October 2025, following violent protests in Punjab, the federal government banned TLP under anti-terrorism legislation, sealed its offices and froze its assets.

In July 2026, police in Hyderabad (Sindh Province) registered anti-terrorism cases against 41 workers and leaders of the banned TLP, alleging that they had continued organising and recruiting for the party despite the federal ban.
