This module aims to provide learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct  asylum interviews and assess evidence in cases of applicants with diverse SOGIESC, and determine if the applicant qualifies for refugee status in line with the Qualifications Regulation.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of this module, the learner will be able to:
  1. Apply advanced interviewing strategies to plan, prepare, conduct and document interviews with applicants with diverse SOGIESC
  2. Evaluate evidence, interview transcripts and specific relevant Country of Origin Information against legal requirements for cases of diverse SOGIESC
  3. Justify, in fact and in law, decisions on cases of applicants with diverse SOGIESC.
