DESCRIPTION

This training guides the learner through the asylum procedures, presenting the new and revised provisions with a focus on the Asylum Procedures Regulation (APR). The training highlights aspects such as the basic principles, guarantees and the administrative procedure from the screening and access until a decision is notified to the applicant for international protection, including special procedures and the safe country concepts.

At the end of this module, the learner will be able to:
  1. Outline the screening process, in relation to access to the asylum procedure 
  2. Explain some of the most relevant changes the APR brings to the asylum procedure
