DESCRIPTION

This module aims to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to effectively implement identification and family tracing procedures in the context of the AMMR.
It covers the legal framework relating to family tracing, the relevant procedural steps in implementing identification and tracing of family members, with a focus on prioritising the best interests of the child and respect for family life and unity.
It prepares learners to apply this knowledge in the context of using the relevant templates developed by EUAA to provide and collect necessary information to identify the Member State responsible for the examination of an application of international protection of adults and children (Art 25-28/34 AMMR). The module integrates key principles and information found in the EUAA Practical Guide on Family Tracing.
