Core modules

Core modules provide the essential knowledge and skills required for asylum case workers and decision-makers. They focus on the key tasks involved in assessing applications for international protection and support the consistent application of the Common European Asylum System (CEAS).
These modules represent the central layer of the European Asylum Curriculum (EAC), bridging foundational knowledge and more advanced, specialised training.

Module availability

Core modules are being progressively aligned with the Pact on Migration and Asylum.
While two modules are already available for translation, Evidence and risk assessment is being finalised and will become available at a later stage. This ensures that all modules reflect the updated legal and operational framework.
