DESCRIPTION

This training explores how withdrawal of international protection is addressed in the Pact on Migration and Asylum. In particular, the learner is guided through the key instruments which are relevant to withdrawal of international protection - the Qualification Regulation (QR) and Asylum Procedure Regulation (APR) - with a focus on the main differences between the Qualification Directive (QD) and Asylum Procedures Directive (APD) and the new instruments of the Pact.
 

LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of this module, the learner will be able to:
  1. Identify the main changes brought by the Pact on Migration and Asylum on the launch of the withdrawal of international protection procedures;
  2. Identify the main changes brought by the Pact on Migration and Asylum on the grounds relevant to withdrawal of international protection;
  3. Identify the main changes brought by the Pact on Migration and Asylum on the consequences related to the application of withdrawal of international protection.
