Not Pact-aligned foundation modules
This section includes two foundation modules that were developed under the previous legal and training framework of the European Asylum Curriculum (EAC) and are not yet aligned with the Pact on Migration and Asylum.
These modules remain available to support ongoing training activities and to ensure continuity for administrations and learners who are currently using them. Over time however, these modules will be updated or replaced by Pact-aligned versions as the curriculum continues to evolve.
Role within the curriculum
Not Pact-aligned foundation modules continue to provide important introductory knowledge on key topics relevant to asylum and reception work. They may still be used in training programmes where appropriate while the transition to Pact-aligned modules is being completed.
Learners and administrations are encouraged to consult the Pact-aligned foundation modules section for modules reflecting the updated legal and operational framework.
