DESCRIPTION

The training provides an overview of the main aspects of alternatives to detention throughout the different stages of the asylum procedure, highlighting the novelties introduced by the Pact on Migration and Asylum.
The course, which is fully online and self-paced, is based on (and follows the structure of) the EUAA Practical guide on Alternatives to Detention. It is complemented by some videos on concrete practices already implemented in a Member State and by some exercises to test learners’ knowledge.
